the hinged serpentine slant front enclosing an interior with a later burgundy leather writing surface and three drawers, one fitted with three inkwells, and a central well with sliding cover; above a frieze with two lateral drawers, on cabriole legs with gilt sabots, decorated overall with Chinese figures and pavilions, birds and flowers in aquatic landscapes; stamped on the underside MIGEON and NB
