A Pair of Royal Louis XVI Cream-Painted and Parcel-Gilt Banquettes by Georges Jacob, Circa 1785
of bow-front silhouete with double leaf-carved rails raised on circular tapering and fluted legs with leaf-tip capitals headed by rosette blocks; covered in red velvet, both stamped G.IACOB to underside of rear seat rail; surface decoration later
