of baluster form, the pear-shaped body painted with two pairs of dragons and phoenix below a band of prunus blossoms, the long waisted neck encircled by a classical scroll and pendent blade leaves, divided by two raised ribs and flanked by a pair of animal-headed handles, the splayed foot decorated with bands of ruyi and lotus lappets, the flat base left unglazed, the galleried rim inscribed with a horizontal reign mark

The form and decoration of this vase follow the style of the Jiajing period, and continued to be produced during the Kangxi and Yongzheng reigns of the Qing dynasty.

瓶盤口,圓鼓腹,長頸凸起二道弦紋,兩側設獸耳,覆盤式平底。以龍鳳呈祥為主紋,間飾蕉葉、忍冬、梅花及如意雲頭等紋樣。外口沿橫書《大明萬曆年製》楷書款。此瓶制式承嘉靖舊制,清康熙、雍正年間亦有仿燒。
