A Dutch Delft Polychrome Baluster Vase and Cover, circa 1694-1712
painted with six shaped panels alternating with stylized birds perched in branches issuing flowers and a pomegranate, and a peacock perched in a branch issuing from banded hedges, with further panels of flowerheads and leaves, the cover similarly painted with birds among foliage and rockwork, the vase with Roos script mark in blue for De Roos (The Rose) factory, the cover with Roos over /and numeral 17 in blue
