Description

painted, probably by Joseph Zächenberger, with a large loose bouquet of flowers including two pink roses and a red peony, and three small butterflies, with a further butterfly and scattered flowers below a gilt scrollwork and blue line border within the gilt-edged shaped rim, impressed shield mark, numeral 2, incised V to inside edge of footrim

Graves Terwilliger, was sold at Parke Bernet Galleries, Inc., New York, 22 April 1982, lot 126.
