A similar late Shang dynasty jade ‘dragon’ pendant, also depicted a wide, open mouth and 

eyes in the shape of the chen character (臣) centred with a big round iris, but further pierced with a suspension hole, excavated at Qianzhangda site in Shandong, and preserved in the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, illustrated in Zhongguo chutu yuqi quanji/The Complete Collection of Jades Unearthed in China, Beijing, 2005, vol. 4, pl. 162.

參考一相類商代晚期玉「龍」形飾,同樣作大張口狀,飾「臣」字目,中雕大圓眼珠,然帶一穿孔。該例出土於山東前掌大遺址,現藏於中國社會科學院考古研究所,載於《中國出土玉器全集》,北京,2005年,卷4,圖版162。
