8vo (155 x 102 mm). Italic type, 30 lines plus headline. collation: A-X8: 168 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and verso of last leaf, one page of early manuscript written upside-down on front flyleaves. (Some minor dampstaining and spotting.)


binding: Contemporary limp vellum (156 x 109 mm), traces of two pairs of ties, inscriptions in ink on covers, flat spine, four leather bands piercing covers at spine. (Binding worn and creased, spine repaired.)
