8vo (156 x 94). Roman type, 39 lines plus headline. collation: [cross]8 A-Z8 AA-KK8 LL10 AAA-FFF8 GGG4: 334 leaves (LL10 blank). Woodcut Aldine device on title-page, woodcut historiated initials. (Title lightly worn and inserted on stub, scattered foxing, dark stains on a few leaves, small wormhole to lower margin of second half, growing more visible on quires V-Y.)


binding: Nineteenth-century three-quarter vellum over patterned boards (163 x 102 mm), flat spine with two brown labels, manuscript title to lower edge. (Spine a bit darkened, later endpapers.)
