4to (189 x 134 mm). Roman type with some italic, 30 lines plus headline. collation: A-Y4: 88 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page. (Title remargined with a few wormtracks, foxing throughout, a few paper flaws.)


binding: Contemporary limp vellum (193 x 139 mm), traces of two pairs of green silk ties, edges plain and lightly gauffered, manuscript title to spine, now faded. (Possibly recased, splits to spine panel discreetly repaired, lower cover lightly stained, a few tears to endleaves, labels removed from front pastedown and spine.)
