8vo (151 x 94 mm). Italic type, 29 lines plus headline. collation: A-N⁸ O⁴: 108 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page, portrait of Aldo the Elder on verso. (Scattered light dampstaining, small loss to margin of title, which is starting to separate.)

binding: Contemporary vellum (153 x 101 mm), traces of two pairs of leather ties, two bands piercing spine at head and tail, fourteenth-century manuscript leaf used as binder's support. (Slightly soiled and darkened, a few wormholes, lacking endleaves, first few quires becoming loose.)
