8vo (154 x 91 mm). Italic type, 30 lines plus headline. collation: A-V8: 160 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device to title-page and verso of last leaf, guide letters in initial spaces. (Closed marginal tear to E8, light intermittent spotting.)


binding: Nineteenth-century English polished calf (157 x 100 mm), three gilt fillets around sides, gilt Aldine device on covers, two morocco labels on spine, one misdated 1554, gray endpapers, brown speckled edges. (Joints starting.)
