A Sèvres (Hard Paste) Porcelain Two-Handled Cup and Stand (Coupe 'Hemispherique a Bouillon'), circa 1810
elaborately painted with lozenge-shaped panels in claret and brown, reserving alternating motifs including shields and military trophies, flaming torches, paterae, peacocks, lyres and caduceus, reserved on a buff-coloured ground painted with interlinked purple and blue flowers and scrolls, the rims with triangular panels of anthemion, the cup interior richly gilt, on a spreading foot gilt with gadroons on a green ground, the center of the stand with a burnished gold rosette on on a green ground, the cup with incised letters DL, H and JZ, the stand incised letters dc and numeral 73.12 mark
