Description
each of bombé form, the first, moulded in low-relief with diaper panels and flowerheads picked out in blue and yellow, and rocaille scroll cartouches reserving scenes of figures in landscapes, the interior lid finely painted with a landscape of figures beside a river gesturing towards a large schloss on the opposite bank;
the second painted with green diaper panels edged with puce scrolls, the exterior lid in purple camaïeu with Watteauesque figures, the interior lid painted in colours with two gentleman drinking at a table, the underside with a panel of flowers, sceptre marks in underglaze-blue to interior of both
