Description
the beakers applied with plain loop handles, one painted with a tall pagoda building over a stepped bridge, flanked by a bird and flowering tree, the other with a chinoiserie figure in a fenced garden, above cell diaper panels in iron-red, the stands similarly painted with a pagoda building either by pierced rockwork or under a willow tree, with simple lambrequin borders, picked out in gilding, the undersides with two flowering branches
