upright rectangular, the front with a large watch dial with Roman numerals for the hours, above three smaller dials for days of the week, months of the year and dates of the month, a further moon phase dial in dark blue enamel with gold stars, signed Asprey, the glass top and sides leaving the mechanism visible, the reverse engraved and dated: 1889, further inscribed: Made in France/11 eleven jewels,
