Description

rectangular, the light green hardstone panels overlaid with gold openwork chased with scrolls and rocailles producing the effect of two-coloured gold, the mounts to the sides of the lid further chased with an interlaced band, the interior unlined, slightly wavy interior gold mounts, apparently unmarked apart from later French import marks for 1864-1893,
