4to (165 x 97 mm). Roman type, 33 lines plus headline. collation: ¶4 A-Z4 Aa-Ss4: 184 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device to title. (Marginal tear to P3, areas of light dampstaining.)


binding: Contemporary limp ivory vellum (168 x 105 mm), flat spine with six-line manuscript title and with "Hist. ecclésiastique" in ink across upper cover. (A little soiled with some loss to upper corner of lower cover.)
