8vo (160 x 85 mm). Italic and Roman type, 30 lines plus headline. collation: π-6π⁸ a-z⁸ A-B⁸ C⁴: 252 leaves (lacking 6π8, a blank). Woodcut Aldine device on title-page, a1, and final blank, instances of early marginalia. (Title and following leaf wormed, scattered staining and foxing.)

binding: Eighteenth-century calf (167 x 98 mm), covers with double gilt rules, edges speckled red. (Rebacked, rubbed with some loss.)
