Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso. (Worming to title, following few leaves, and final few leaves repaired, title and a few other leaves reattached, scattered foxing, staining, and dampstaining.)


binding: Bolognese black morocco (172 x 107), early 1520s, two concentric frames of one gilt and four blind fillets, gilt floral ornaments at inner corners, central arabesque cartouche containing P:O:|FAS: on upper cover and :FRAN: | :POR: on lower cover, traces of four pairs of ties, edges gilt and gauffered. (Rebacked, rubbed, endleaves renewed.)
