8vo (170 x 104 mm). Roman type, 40 lines plus headline. collation: a-z8 A-S8 T4: 332 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title- page, woodcut headpieces and historiated initials. (Toning, occasional dampstaining to lower margin, scattered foxing.)
binding: Contemporary French brown calf (175 x 115 mm), two blind fillets framing central rectangle of three blind fillets, gilt fleuron at corners, small gilt arabesque at center, spine with raised bands in six compartments, compartments with gilt quadrilobed device, manuscript title on fire-edge. (Rebacked preserving backstrip, corners restored, rubbed.)
