A Hellenistic Polychrome Terracotta Head of a Girl, circa 3rd century B.C.


her oval face with upturned nose and painted eyelashes, her melon-coiffure drawn back from the forward into a large circlet behind, surmounted by a diadem with a Herakles knot, and bound in a circlet with central ornament behind.


Height: 7 ½ in.; 19 cm
