the padded arched back with scrolled armrests; the circular caned revolving seat on a moulded rail raised on four moulded scrolling legs headed by rosettes and terminating in bulbous feet; covered in red velvet with seat cushion

Several very similar models of fauteuils de bureau with identical distinctive scrolling console legs and stamped by Georges Jacob are recorded, including examples sold Sotheby's Paris, 16 April 2013, lot 214 and Christie's Paris, 25 June 2008, lot 212.
