This set of chairs is similar to a set comprising two armchairs, four chairs, and stools, in the Margrave's bedroom at the Ansbach Residence. They are characterized by the use of a similar brown patina and carved gilt elements. Our chairs are distinguished by the presence of caning to the back, reinforcing the chromatic contrast, as well as the small inwards profile of the legs.
