painted, probably by Joseph Zächenberger, with a bouquet of flowers including a purple tulip and a large butterfly resting on a yellow tulip, with further insects at the rim and scattered flowers below a gilt scrollwork and blue line border within the gilt-edged shaped rim, impressed shield markimpressed LP monogram, M and numeral 4 to inside edge of footrim
