A further Meissen Dutch-decorated sake bottle painted in this pattern was in the collection of Simon Goldblatt, Esq., sold, Sotheby’s, London, 2 May 1956, lot 227. See also a teabowl and saucer with applied rosebuds and leaves in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, acc. no. C.768&A-1922. An early Meissen teapot, decorated in this manner with peonies and prunus flowers was in the Hanley Collection of teapots, sold, Sotheby’s, London, 15 May 2014, lot 118.
