5-inch enamel dial signed Arthur, A Paris, centre seconds, dummy winding square, the weight-driven timepiece movement with endless chain winding and dead beat escapement mounted on the backplate, the blue-painted case with urn finial above laurel swags, tapered trunk with simulated louvre panels, panelled plinth on leaf-carved feet
