a figure group of a musician and young attendant, impressed numeral 289/0;
four standing figures, three female and one male, impressed numerals 484/0, 213(?)/0, 77/0;
a male figure standing in a bending forward pose, impressed numeral 154/0;
a kneeling female figure, impressed numeral 380/0;
impressed shield marks,
together with three Commedia dell’Arte figures of Pierrot, Columbine and Scaramouche, after the models by Franz Anton Bustelli, each modelled standing on a scroll-edged base, impressed shield marks, impressed numerals 54/0, 240/28 and 76/0

These chinoiserie figures are from a group of seventeen designed as table decorations by the factory’s master modeller, Franz Anton Bustelli, around 1756-57. The figure of a Chinese 'pagod' on a pedestal formed the central model and sixteen individual chinoiserie figures, including a priest and various children and adult attendants, some playing musical instruments or singing and others bowing down in worship, were designed by Bustelli to be positioned around this central figure, raised up on a tall plinth. An example of the central pagoda figure on a plinth is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, accession no. C.89-1985. Several examples from the group are illustrated by Alfred Ziffer, Nymphenburger Porzellan Sammlung Bäuml, Stuttgart, 1997, pp. 53-57, nos. 73-85.
