Description

each painted with loose bouquets of mixed flowers and further single flowers and sprigs within the gilt-edged shaped rim; together with a Nymphenburg soup plate, circa 1757, painted probably by Andreas Oettner, with a flower spray and sprigs within a puce-edged rim, impressed shield marks, three plates with hexagram mark in underglaze-blue, various impressed numerals

The soup plate with purple-edged rim is decorated with flowers in a botanical style similar to that executed at the Du Paquier (Vienna) manufactory in the 1730s, and has has been attributed to Andreas Oettner; see Alfred Ziffer, Nymphenburger Porzellan Sammlung Bäuml, Stuttgart, 1997, pp. 127-128, nos. 269-282.
