Rare edition of the synodal constitutions resulting from a diocesan synod held in La Paz (now Bolivia) in 1738, convened under Bishop Agustín Rodríguez Delgado. Printed in Lima under royal license, the volume outlines ecclesiastical regulations for the governance of the diocese, including doctrinal enforcement, clerical conduct, and sacramental practice in the Viceroyalty of Peru. This copy with the engraved frontispiece of Nuestra Señora de la Paz.
