8vo (144 x 99 mm). Italic type with some Roman, 29 lines plus headline. collation: A-Z8 AA-GG8 HH4: 244 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and verso of last leaf. (Discreet repair and short closed tear to inner margin of title-page)


binding: Early nineteenth-century English maroon straight-grained morocco with gilt Aldine device on covers (148 x 104 mm), spine with inlaid black morocco oval labels outlined by gilt fillets, gilt edges. (Extremities lightly rubbed, spine a trifle sunned.)
