8vo (150 x 97 mm). Italic type with some Roman, 29 lines plus headline. collation: A-Z8 AA-GG8 HH4: 244 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and recto of last leaf. (Scattered light dampstaining.)


binding: Contemporary German pigskin over stiff pasteboards (160 x 105 mm), panel stamp with traces of gilt overlay composed of rectangle and lozenge containing a circle around interlacing strapwork and garlands, floral ornaments at corners and at points of lozenge, spine with six compartments, blind ornaments in compartments, morocco title label, edges gilt and gauffered. (Rebacked, later repair to head of spine, rubbed, gilding largely oxidized, corners bumped.)
