Large-Paper copy, one of only 32 printed according to Bigmore and Wyman, of the third edition—described by Breslauer & Folter as "the standard bibliography on the subject and a model of its kind." This edition also includes the Giunta bibliography, Notice sur la famille des Junte et liste sommaire de leurs éditions jusqu'en 1550
4to (263 x 197 mm). Engraved frontispiece portrait of Aldo Manuzio, second engraved portrait and eleven facsimile plates on eight leaves, five folding. (Plates a little toned and foxed.)
binding: Contemporary brown morocco gilt (273 x 212 mm), edges gilt. (Rubbed, a small area of loss to head of spine.)
