probably Lambeth, London or Bristol, in the form of a heeled shoe, with a molded oval buckle, painted in shades of blue, green and iron-red with panels of flowers and insects within scrolling foliage, the high heel with leaf-ornament, the underside initialed and dated A / T. P / 1722
