A dish with a comparable palette in these distinct shades of sea-green and orange-red was formerly in the Adda collection and sold at Christie's, London, 1 April 2021, lot 91 (Rackham 1959, pl. 68b, no.182). The control of the glaze is remarkable on the present dish with each colour rich in tone and executed with a clean contrast between each shade on the white ground.
