of shallow rounded form with slightly everted rim painted in underglaze cobalt-blue, green and bole-red, outlined in black, decorated with a peacock surrounded by floral stems, the rim with alternating flowers and leaves on a green and blue ground, the reverse with stylised foliate motifs, a repair to the rim
