4to (194 x 138 mm). Collation: a4 A2 B-E4: 22 leaves, gothic type, title-page with woodcut chess board, 3 further woodcut chessboards in-text, 6 further woodcut illustrations of chess figures (King, Queen, etc.), modern vellum, some marginal staining


With a charming series of woodcut chess figures. VERY RARE: USTC lists just 5 institutional copies, and Rare Book Hub lists no auction records for this title.
