Folio (304 x 210 mm). Roman type, 57 lines plus headline. collation: *4 A-Z4 AA-RR4 SS6: 170 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso. (A few leaves browned, intermittent and marginal dampstaining and foxing, marginal worming to final leaves.)
binding: Full early vellum (313 x 218 mm), spine with raised bands in four compartments, manuscript title to first, shelfmark to fourth, manuscript title on tail-edge, traces of four pairs of ties. (Vellum abraded, loss to spines, joints cracked, first and last gathering loose.)
provenance: Giovanni Battista Torresini, inscription "Joann. Baptistae Turresini" on title-page (likely Giovanni Battista Torresini, who was living in Cremona in 1587) — Collegio dei SS.
