8vo (164 x 102 mm). Woodcut initials, head- and tailpieces; small hole to gutter of first two leaves, toned, foxed, and dampstained throughout, a few margins chipped. Contemporary calf ruled in blind, spine with raised bands in five compartments; overall rubbed, corners bumped.

In the four years after Finley's first pamphlet on the subject in 1746, a total of four pamphlets were published, with the present work concluding the discourse. Franklin printed 500 copies of the present work for the Baptist Society in exchange for £53.13 (Miller).
