A William IV Rosewood and Specimen-Marble Circular Open Bookcase, Second Quarter 19th Century; the Top Italian, Late 18th/Early 19th Century


the circular marble top inlaid with specimens of marble, alabaster, porphyry, agate, malachite and decorative stones around a lapis lazuli roundel and within a Greek-key border, above five Tuscan pilastre uprights flanking three open shelves; on a plinth base with brass castors, the marble top with mahogany backing; together with eighty-two leather-bound volumes.
