These candelabra are similar to drawings of Jean-Charles Delafosse, and in particular to a drawing illustrated by H. Ottomeyer and P. Pröschel in Vergoldete Bronzen: die Bronzearbeiten des Spätbarock und Klassizismus, fig. 3-9-3, p. 186. The composition is rigorously symmetrical, perfectly balanced, with a certain rigor linked to the influence of Greek taste and inspired by Louis XIV classicism.
