painted in underglaze-blue with the ‘Fels und Vogel’ pattern and decorated, probably in the workshop of F.J. Ferner, in enamels and gilding, the interior with a circular panel with an iron-red cityscape, surrounded by courtly figures with a goat, two hounds and a lamb among trees and a column and pedestal, the exterior with a Commedia dell’Arte figure of Harlequin with a slapstick before a fountain, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, painter’s (?) mark to inside edge of footrim, impressed numeral 21
