Description

cartouche-shaped, the borders with chased hunting scenes between baroque strapwork, the lid later set with an earlier enamel plaque painted with four angels around a monstrance, below a banner with a Latin inscription, probably Augsburg, late 17th century, set in a plain polished gold surround, the outer borders and sides chased with rabbits and bird, plain gold base,
