with a later Levanto rosso marble top above a frieze with egg-and-dart and dentillated cornice and centered by a female mask cartouche flanked by acanthus scrolls and a gadrooned lower border; on ringed cabriole legs with shell-carved knees terminating in claw and ball feet; alterations to rails; previously but possibly not originally with a wooden top
