Super-chancery folio (302 x 214 mm). Roman types, text in two columns, 60 lines plus headline, 2- to 8-line initial spaces with printed guide letters. Collation: a12 b–q8 r–s6 A–N8 O–P6: 259 (of 260) leaves (lacking blank a1); clean internal tear to a2, some scattered marginal soiling and very minor, unobtrusive worming, especially to first few leaves. Seventeenth-century Italian vellum over flexible paper boards, plain endpapers and edges; a bit rubbed and soiled, pen-trials on covers.
Third edition of Landino's Italian translation of Pliny's Natural History.
