Thence by inheritance.
Cologne, Wallraf-Richartz Museum, on loan until March 2025.
This painting is based upon a lost original by Jusepe de Ribera, known through a number of studio and period versions, including a workshop version, dated to the early 1620s, at the Meadows Museum, Dallas.1
