The former is a three-quarter-length, recorded copy of the portrait of King Charles I in the Royal Collection.1 The latter is a three-quarter-length rendition of a composition that exists in a number of versions, none of which are considered unquestionably autograph. This group includes also a version in the Royal Collection.2
