By descent to the sitter's daughter, Lady Mary Jones (c. 1781–1853), who married James Everard, 9th Baron Arundell of Wardour (1763–1817);

Aeddan Arundell (1848–1899), her granddaughter, who married Arthur Bampton Donnithorne (1844–1885);

Thence by descent to R.S.A. Donnithorne;

The sitter was the daughter of Samuel Eastwicke, M.P. (1736–1795). In 1778 she married Robert Burnett Jones (c. 1750–1817), Attorney General of Barbados. This portrait is a version of a painting of Mrs Robert Burnett Jones in a private collection.1
