8vo (163 x 100 mm). Roman, italic, and Greek type, 32 lines plus headline. collation: a-x8 y2 X2: 172 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page, woodcut initials, four folding tables, early reader's marks. (Tables detached, b8 bound before b1, scattered staining, foxing, and browning, a few splits to folds of gatherings.)
binding: Nineteenth-century English red morocco armorial binding (170 x 113 mm), gilt leafy border, gilt arms at center, flat spine with false bands in six compartments, second gilt-lettered, others with gilt ovals with spokes, edges speckled red and brown, top stained black, turn-ins gilt with gilt Greek key pattern, green silk endleaves. (Minor soiling, a few spots to silk.)
