Born, raised, and currently residing in Clifton, Texas, Martin Grelle began drawing and painting at a young age. When he was in high school, James Boren, a member of the Cowboy Artists of America, moved to Grelle’s area and became Grelle’s mentor. Starting with his first solo exhibition at only 19 years old, 40 years later Grelle has produced more than 30 one-man exhibitions. Invited to be a part of the Cowboy Artists of America in 1995, he served as president of the organization in 2013-14.
