Born in Torrance, California, Glenn Dean sought inspiration from California impressionist painters from a young age. Largely self-taught, Dean gained recognition early in his career, having twice been honored as the cover artist for the Western Art Collector magazine. After receiving numerous awards, such as the Gold Thunderbird Award (Best of the Show) at Maynard Dixon Country, Dean continues to travel throughout the southwest to paint his award-winning artworks on location.
